Fyne Audio F1-10

Traded in and now available: a beautiful set of Fyne Audio F1-10 speakers from the original F1 series, executed in high gloss black.

 

This set is in excellent condition and is technically completely in order. The original packages are no longer available. Because of the heavy size and weight pickup is our preferred.

The F1-10 was the first statement model with which Fyne Audio presented his vision on high-end speaker construction. At the centre of the design is the large 250 mm IsoFlare point-source driver , in which a 75 mm titanium dome compression tweeter is located in the acoustic heart of the layer/middle toner. This creates a very coherent and direct representation with a particularly stable stereo image.

 

With a sensitivity of 94 dB, the F1-10 is exceptionally efficient. This allows it to be combined not only with powerful transistor amplifiers, but also with high-quality tube amplifiers and even relatively low-performance designs.

 

For the layer view, Fyne Audio uses a twin-cavity cabinet construction in combination with its own BassTrax Tractrix system. The lower bass port radiates on a specially shaped diffuser, allowing the low frequencies to be evenly distributed around the foot of the loudspeaker in the listening room. This contributes to a deep, powerful and controlled layer and makes the speaker less critical in terms of placement.

 

Soundfully combines the F1-10 scale and authority with speed and refinement. The large IsoFlare system gives voices and instruments a striking directness and touchability, while the stereo image is built wide, deep and particularly stable. Dynamic differences are displayed with great ease, without the speaker losing its peace and natural character.

At the front there are separate control options for High Frequency Energy and Presence . This allows the speaker's balance to be subtly adjusted to the acoustics of the listening room, the electronics used and personal preferences.

 

With almost 58 kilograms per speaker, an extremely solid construction and an impressive 10-inch IsoFlare driver, the original F1-10 is a true statement speaker. Meanwhile, this model has been followed by the F1-10S, but this very first generation represents the original F1 concept with which Fyne Audio positioned itself directly in the highest segment of the loudspeaker market.
