From my first system to yours.

My fascination with audio began at a young age. Music was always there, but I soon became captivated by the way that music was reproduced. I read audio magazines, dreamt about extraordinary systems and, above all, spent a lot of time listening, comparing and experimenting. What began as a hobby grew over the years into an ever-deepening fascination with high-quality audio and eventually became my profession and Highender Audio.

In the process, I’ve learnt that, for me, good audio isn’t just about the equipment. An amplifier, loudspeaker or source is ultimately a means of getting closer to the music. When a system really works, the technology fades into the background and what remains, above all, is the music.

That’s also how I work at Highender. Listening together, trying out different combinations and searching for a system that works as a whole. Not necessarily the most expensive solution or the most impressive specifications, but the set-up that makes you want to put on another record.

Because ultimately, I can say a lot about equipment, technology and sound, but your own ears tell the most important story.

We offer new equipment from the brands we represent as dealers, alongside a changing selection of second-hand components. These come to us via trade-ins, as we take on equipment or complete systems from customers, or via consignment: selling on behalf of the owner. In this way, exceptional pieces of equipment begin a new chapter with a new enthusiast.
