Silent Angel Bonn N8 switch met Sbooster

Traded in and now available: a lovely Silent Angel Bonn N8 audiophile network switch, including an SBooster linear power supply. The Bonn N8 has been specially developed for audio systems in which streaming plays a key role. Although at first glance a network switch may seem primarily a functional component of the network, Silent Angel has paid particular attention to aspects such as power supply, EMI suppression and clock accuracy in the Bonn N8. The switch features eight Gigabit Ethernet ports and utilises a highly accurate 0.1 ppm clock. Silent Angel also applies its proprietary SANA technology to absorb electromagnetic interference and has fitted both the power supply circuit and the clock section with additional noise suppression. In this particular unit, the standard power supply has been replaced with an SBooster linear power supply. The Bonn N8 requires 5V DC at 1A, whilst the suitable SBooster BOTW 5-6V offers a considerably more robust power supply. In a high-end streaming setup, the aim is primarily to create the quietest and most stable electrical environment possible for the streamer, network player or music server. It is not a spectacular change to the system, but rather a refinement of the digital infrastructure. A great upgrade for anyone who also wants to take a serious approach to the network surrounding the digital source.
