Audioquest Vodka Ethernet cable – 0.75 m

Traded in and now available: a lovely AudioQuest Vodka RJ/E Ethernet cable, 0.75 metres long. The Vodka RJ/E is one of AudioQuest’s high-quality network cables and is particularly well-suited for use in serious streaming set-ups, for example between a network switch, music server, streamer or network DAC. For the Vodka, AudioQuest uses solid Long-Grain Copper conductors with a 10 per cent silver plating. The solid construction prevents interaction between individual wire strands, whilst the silver coating is used to optimise the transmission of high-frequency signals. In addition, the Vodka utilises AudioQuest’s Noise-Dissipation technology, which employs metal and carbon-based materials to dissipate high-frequency RF interference as much as possible before it can reach the connected equipment via the shielding. The orientation of the conductors is also checked during production. The cable supports 10-Gigabit Ethernet over distances of up to 100 metres and is fitted with high-quality shielded RJ45 connectors. This means the Vodka is not only intended as an audio accessory, but also provides a high-quality network connection from a technical perspective. Measuring just 0.75 metres in length, this cable is ideally suited for a short connection between, for example, an audiophile switch and a network player.
