Techdas

TechDAS Turntables from Japan TechDAS is a relatively young Japanese audio brand, founded by engineer and audio designer Hideaki Nishikawa in 2010. The brand was born out of a desire to set a new standard in high-end turntables and audio components, with a focus on craftsmanship, precision and innovation. It is a house brand of the renowned Japanese high-end audio distributor Stella Inc., but operates independently within the high-end audio industry. TechDAS is best known for its turntables, which are highly regarded worldwide for their impressive build quality and exceptional sound reproduction. Techdas turntables combine advanced technologies, such as specially developed motors, exceptional bearing systems and materials that minimise resonance, enabling them to deliver an extremely detailed and lifelike sound. One of Techdas’s best-known products is the Techdas Air Force I turntable, which is regarded worldwide as one of the best in the world. This turntable utilises air bearing technology, whereby the platter floats above a stream of air to minimise friction and mechanical noise, resulting in an exceptionally quiet and precise playback. As well as turntables, Techdas has also developed other audio components, including pre-amplifiers and tonearms, which likewise reflect the refined design and high performance the brand is known for.
