TechDAS is a relatively young Japanese audio brand, founded by engineer and audio designer Hideaki Nishikawa in 2010. It grew from a desire to set a new standard for high-end turntables and audio components, with a focus on craftsmanship, precision and innovation. It is an in-house brand of the renowned Japanese high-end audio distributor Stella Inc., while operating independently within the high-end audio industry.

TechDAS is best known for its turntables, respected worldwide for their impressive build quality and exceptional sound reproduction. They combine advanced technologies, including specially developed motors, exceptional bearing systems and resonance-minimising materials, to deliver highly detailed, lifelike sound.

One of the brand's best-known products is the TechDAS Air Force I turntable, widely regarded as one of the finest in the world. It uses an air bearing, with the platter floating on a cushion of air to minimise friction and mechanical noise, resulting in exceptionally quiet and accurate reproduction.

Alongside turntables, TechDAS has developed other audio components, including preamplifiers and tonearms, which reflect the refined design and high performance associated with the brand.
